This 3-storey building was also designed in accordance with principles of sustainable development.
In an effort to obtain a LEED Gold certification the following components were introduced: Indigenous landscaping; proximity to public transit; geothermal heating system; 60% reduction in energy consumption; use of local and recycled materials and low-emitting products; natural stormwater management and treatment; exploitation of natural light sources; potable water use reduction.
