This high-end mixed-use project was designed to meet three major criteria:
1) Maximum visibility for the ground floor retail;
2) Street presence for the main office tenant;
3) LEED certification for the project.
The solution creating a large cantilever at the third floor and rotating the office tower parallel to the street solves the first two criteria in a spectacular fashion. An innovative bearing wall prefab system was used to provide the high performance walls to help achieve the LEED certification.
