With an area of approximately 5,000 square feet of usable space, the Maison des Régions will bring together, mobilize, and support the efforts of various business representatives. These new premises will make it possible to expand business relations between all sectors of economic activity, including and in particular, culture, regional gastronomy and tourism. L’Espace Gradins on the ground floor, l’Espace Nomade as well as multimedia access, will multiply the possibilities open to entrepreneurs and will be available for business events.
The mayor of Montreal emphasized that the Maison des Régions should represent the different regions of Quebec and the First Nation peoples, illustrated through the choice of materials and the design of the space.
This is only the beginning, as 2017-2018 will be a year of development: trade days, thematic weeks, promotion of regional innovations, networking, training, cultural events, company visits and trade fairs, are some of the many activities that will be offered to the business community via the Maison des Régions.
