Data accumulated since 2006 has proven that all this project’s sustainable strategies have paid off, and have earned it this high level certification.They include: geothermal heating system; 60% reduction in energy consumption; use of local and recycled materials; low chemical-emitting products; natural stormwater management and treatment; exploitation of natural light sources; potable water use reduction; indigenous landscaping; proximity to public transit and finally, the reforestation and maintenance of 6 hectares of agricultural land.
